Pricing

Pay for the jobs you're hiring for, not the people on your team.

Usage

How usage is counted.

One resume counts once, when it arrives. Limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month.

Counts
Each resume received, whichever way it arrives: uploaded by you, submitted on the careers page, or forwarded by email.
Doesn't count
Re-running the review after you change a job's requirements, opening or comparing candidates, sharing shortlists, or resumes on a job with an active single posting.
Open jobs
Jobs you haven't closed. Pausing a public posting doesn't free a slot; closing the job does. A job with an active single posting doesn't count.
At the limit
You can't add more resumes until the next month or an upgrade, and the app says which. Applicants to a public posting see “This job isn't accepting new applications right now”; they're never told why.

Billing

Currency and billing.

Prices are the same number in both currencies: US customers pay in USD, Canadian customers in CAD, with no conversion.

Monthly only
There is no annual price today.
Currency is set once
The account owner picks USD or CAD before the first purchase. It can't change afterward, because Stripe doesn't allow it on an existing subscription.
Payment and changes go through Stripe
Checkout to subscribe, and Stripe's billing portal to update your card, switch plan or cancel.
If a payment fails
The account drops to reduced limits until the payment goes through, then returns to its plan automatically. Nothing is deleted.

Questions

Pricing questions.

Is there a free trial?

Every account starts on First Pile, which is free: one open job and up to 100 resumes. Every candidate is organized and ranked, and the full analysis (recommendation, reasons, gaps, requirement checks and consistency signals) is shown for the top 3. The rest show their own details, such as name, contact, resume and knockout result, but not our analysis.

What do I get with a single posting?

It unlocks one job's full results permanently. The job then takes uploads and applications for 30 days, up to 300 resumes, and those don't count against a monthly limit. If you start a subscription within 30 days, the $149 is credited to your subscription, applied after the first invoice, which is charged at checkout.

Do I pay for each person on my team?

No. Every plan, including the free one, has unlimited team members. You pay for how many jobs you have open.

What happens if I hit my limit?

You can't add more resumes until the next month or an upgrade, and the app tells you which. Nothing is deleted, and applicants are never told why a posting has stopped accepting applications.

Do I need an ATS as well?

No. This works on its own. If you already have an ATS, keep it. This does not replace it and does not need to connect to it.

Not sure which plan?

Tell us how many jobs you usually have open and roughly how many resumes each one brings in, and we will point you at the right one.
